When we needed to add another high quality designer to our staff, I was going to use the standard method of reading resumes, making random phone calls, interviewing applicants, etc….the way I’ve always done it. Then Marvin offered to assist us in that process, utilizing the selection process that MBI Technologies had developed, and implemented with success.
Using their screening, interview format and candidate testing system I was able to efficiently research the applicants, and effectively narrow down the top candidates. The testing portion of the process proved to be a very valuable tool and allowed me to get a true representation of how the applicants processed information, followed direction and most importantly who had the best technical and personal skills to thrive in our demanding environment.
The result of utilizing this process was that I found an excellent employee. I may, or may not have found this person through the typical job search methods, I’ll never know for sure. I can, however say that because of the steps I took with MBI’s direction I know, without any doubt I have the right person, and that person was clearly the best choice.
